The BAPE Road STA Runner in Cream/Grey/Taupe is BAPE's most trail-heritage and running-coded silhouette — a multi-material, multi-texture construction that translates the brand's iconic STA star motif into a chunky, outdoor-influenced runner aesthetic. The result is a deeply considered, tonal three-material design that layers cream nylon mesh, heavily textured hairy suede, and smooth suede and leather panels across a complex upper architecture, creating a premium, tactile quality that rewards close inspection from every angle.

The cream nylon mesh base provides the upper's breathable foundation, while heavily textured cream hairy suede overlays at the toe box and lateral midfoot zones add a premium, shaggy napped texture that contrasts sharply with the smoother materials. The BAPE STA's signature dual-motif system is rendered in tonal taupe/mocha smooth suede: the oversized star appliqué at the lateral midfoot and the lightning bolt appliqué at the medial midfoot, both stitched flat against the hairy suede ground for a tonal, texture-on-texture graphic effect.
